Logo for annual Crime Stoppers fundraiser
Caught by Crime Stoppers
a jail bailout
Yes
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization separate from law enforcement and government. It is funded entirely by community support. Crime Stoppers provides the public with a resource to submit tips anonymously via phone, text, online form, and mobile app. This information is collected by Crime Stoppers and then passed along to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

This logo is for a large-scale fundraiser that will be held annually to raise significant donor dollars for the program. It is Jail and Bail - style. Participants will be picked up by police officers/volunteers, driven to a mock jail, have to raise money to make their bail, and then be released. It will be a fun event with a lot of community participation (the participants themselves, companies that support the event through monetary or in-kind donations, and those donating towards the bail). It will be held in a high-traffic shopping centre. We want it to feel like a community event, where individuals who see the logo and hear of the event feel good about participating and like they've done something to create safer communities by supporting Crime Stoppers' continued success.

Red, Black, White, Grey - logo should have options for being on a white background AND a black/grey background. It should compliment our current logo.
not sure
The name Caught by Crime Stoppers is the main name. Over time, the tagline "a jail bailout" will be dropped from the logo so it must be easily removable. Its purpose is simply to give quick clarity to the event while the event is still new.
The C in Caught and C in Crime Stoppers could be turned into handcuffs. Just a thought - please don't let this limit your creativity.
This logo should be either similar enough to our current logo that we can just use the event logo and the public will still connect that it's a Crime Stoppers event OR different enough that it's appropriate to use both and not feel repetitive.
