Aloha Gold

Tagline

Include this tagline in my logo.

Describe who/what this design is about

This design will be the cornerstone of our brand and future marketing efforts. This logo should embody both the essence of Aloha and its Polynesian origins of Hawaii as well as the bold classic style of all things gold. It is important that the logo represent me and my personality. I am originally from Hawaii, but grew up in Los Angeles California.

My favorite things are: Tattoos, Gold, Owls, Koru, the ocean

I want a BOLD, Clean logo and lines that can easily be embroidered and produced into sticker/decals. I only want 3 colors incorporated: Black, Gold and White. I would like to see 3 versions of your design: 1- Black/Gold 2- Black/White 3-White/Black. I want to see the text “Aloha Gold” and the A and G linked together like in the LA Dodgers logo. The most important aspect is the text, but I am open to incorporating an owl or other Polynesian/ LA based animal/symbol etc. if it fits well and tells the story of Aloha Gold. I am also interested seeing "A24k" incorporated into the design somewhere if it fits well.

I have extended the contest and increased the prize money to allow time for new designs and revisions and reward those who come up with design/s that fit my vision. I am really liking the direction of the designs, but just not quite there yet. Please please look at my Aloha Gold pinterest folder: http://www.pinterest.com/jhobayan/aloha-gold/ The folder contains designs I like, fonts I like, etc. I want to have a logo that embodies both Aloha and Gold. Focus on the urban youth appeal. I would also like to see: - A stylized "A24k" with "Aloha Gold" written underneath it, framed in a square. - "Aloha Gold" stacked in bold, simple handwritten script. - I like the A & G incorporated into the body of the owl or bee. - I have also liked the incorporation of maori tattoo elements (ta moku) - I want to see a version of just the A & G interlocked like the LA in the LA Dodgers logo.

I'd like to see some variations on the designs that incorporate a pineapple, maori influences, tattoo type designs, etc. I do not want a corporate looking design that you would see on a polo shirt. I want something that appeals to 17-35 year-olds. Something that borders on classy yet urban. The creative brief provdes several links to brands and my pinterest folder with examples of stuff I like. THank you in advance for designing!!!

#37 and #38 I really like the concept with the integrated letters and owl, but I would like to see a version with a more stylized font both for the A and G as well as the "aloha gold" underneath.

Please look at the pinterest board link and referenced websites provided in the creative brief. I want this brand/logo to be able to stand up against brands like in4mation, stussy, illest etc. I really like the illest brand font, I want something bold, recognizable and something that will look good on a hat. You can use "Aloha Gold" an interlocked A and G like in the LA dodgers logo and/or "A24k" The font must be stylized, I do not want block lettering.
