The logo is for my Human-Computer Interaction research lab. I want the logo to convey the interdisciplinary mixing (or "stirring") of the social (i.e., human psychology) and computing (i.e., technology) sciences.

-Would be great to have a logo that combines humans and technology
-Incorporating a stirring motion would be cool
-Nothing too complication. I like modern and simple.
-You may want to bench mark other HCI labs at universities. It needs to be different than what's already out there.

    Overall, the most important thing to me is that the graphical icon conveys the meaning of the lab, which is understanding how people interact with technology.

    For a clarification, my research is in social computing, such as how people interact with others through social media and other technologies. So, not related to artificial intelligence or robotics, which some of the designs seem to convey. Thanks!

    I tend to like the lime greens or oranges the best so far. I would like to be able to split of the graphic logo part to use to brand stationery and other items. So, something that could be standalone apart from the lab's name would be great to incorporate in the design.

    I would like to emphasize, that I would really love to see the elements of humans and technology somehow integrated into the logo. A vibrant orange for STIR also looks nice so far. Thank you!
