Describe who/what this design is about

Boss Dairy Farms is a family farm that milks 300 Holstein (black & white) cows twice daily in addition to care of all of the calves. We also farm 1000+ acres of land including corn, hay, and soybeans. We are located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.

We would like our logo to be more sophisticated than a simple clip-art picture of a cow. We aren't opposed to having a unique, modern, etc. cow in the logo, but this isn't a requirement.
