Describe who/what this design is about

Family owned and operated agricultural business that sells corn and soybean seeds for farmers to plant. We want a simple, clean line logo that will be our universal logo from business signage, invoice graphic, used on apparel, hats and customer gifts, etc. We care about our farmers and that this will be a timeless logo.

We like the idea of a corn kernel or soybean seed; corn stalk or soybean leaf being incorporate.
Land/soil and sun are could be used. No wheat images.
Like the initial P for Perry.
Prefer clean line fonts - not cursive, italicized or whimsical.
