Alright Developers,

This is exciting and agonizing at the same time so I'm hoping you all can capture my ideas and make my dream logo a reality.

A little background. This is my 1st business. Private Contracting right now, with hopes to maybe expand the business in about 5 years or so. I am a Bodyguard. I want you to use that "idea" in your drafts. While i hope at some point to expand to a more comprehensive security solution business right now close protection is what i mainly do. Solo-Operations. I've been in the security profession for about 4+ years. Made most of my biggest successes with the company over the last 3 years. My clientele is growing and I find myself in a lot of affluent places with Celebrities and VIPs. With that comes the potential for perspective clients. I'm wanting add a better means of advertising myself. Mostly through Business Cards. (No website just yet.)

Here are the basics:

Company Name: Masiam Protection - It's pronounced, "Mace - e - am". The name is a reflection of the man. "I am Sam". So this palindrome of sorts is simply a reflection of me, from the inside out - "Sam I Am" from the inside out. Long before this business even came to be, it was just something qwerky and original I thought of and figured it was just original enough to work for a business trademark.

Here's what I'm looking for in the Logo:

Target Audience:
Corporate Professionals and VIP clients. Ages: 25 - 45. This logo, these business cards will be in the hands of Assistants, Lawyers, Music Executives, Artist Managers, Tour Managers, Celebrities, TV Network Associates, fellow Colleagues and the General Public. I want something modern enough to engage the masses yet conservative enough to earn their respect and investment.... all without compromising the visual integrity.

Movies for Inspiration: Man on Fire, Act of Valour, 007 Skyfall, 300.

Something that says: Professional, Trust, Proactive, Menacing, Logistical, Savy, Mike Lowry meets Rampage Jackson. Secret Service, Agile, Discretion. Confidential. Possibly Rugged, Built to last, Tough. Secret. Masculine. Dignitary.

Colors I'm thinking of : Gold, Black, OD Green.

Designs:
(Stuff I like and Don't Like)
Although it is in the security industry, I'm not a huge fan of the cliche business cards I see with stuff like handcuffs, or Five Star Deputy Badges. lol After looking at a few of the designs on this sight I am particularly interested in seeing how you can possibly incorporate a shield into the logo. However I also like the whole Modern Warfare 3 - MW3 (Call Of Duty) Font look (google an image). But it's totally not a necessity, as i don't want to sacrifice the conservative side of the Logo. I'm going to give some freedoms on the shapes. I want to see just what you guys can come up with. No shape is fine also. If it's good, it will work! My last generic creation was simply "MASIAM" (spelled out).



While I do have a few guidelines, I try to let the creators do the creating. That said, I'm welcoming all ideas. I've been quite impressed with the work I've seen from many of you so I'm open to any renditions. I'll be here for any questions or to guide the vision.
