The Animal Behavior Society is hosting its 2016 conference at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. "Mizzou" is known among ABS folks for work on Acoustics/Vibration in Insects and frogs. Maybe this could be part of the logo. I attach an image of a calling grasshopper that is copyright free which could be used in the logo, either directly or in some modified way.
