  Hi all, at the request of some of the designers, ill open up the brief to include grayscale colours as well. So if you want to make subtle use of some shades of grey or black, you can do so if you think it will significantly improve the design. Cheers and good luck!

  Hi guys thanks for all your hard work. Numbers #28, #34, and #33 you definitely have the new concept correct, but we are certainly looking for a higher grade of design, for example like the examples I gave of the Lakers, Cavaliers, Pistons logos. Remember our motto is "Excellence in Basketball and Education".... Thanks!

  Just to be clear, we want the text to now read "New Zealand Basketball Academy" and to delete the NZBA abbreviation. The words "New Zealand" and the basketball graphic should be the standout features. "Basketball Academy" can be in a slightly smaller font. Thanks

  Hi designers, I have just had a meeting with a key stakeholder and they have emphasised to things they would like to see in the logo. The first is, the words "New Zealand" need to feature prominently. The second is, they want the profile of the logo to be of the same height and width, effectively square. This is so it can be used on uniforms on the chest pocket. Designs that have been suggested are simlar logos from NBA teams such as: http://images.pictureshunt.com/pics/d/detroit_pistons_logo-9818.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/1c/LA_Lakers_logo.svg/200px-LA_Lakers_logo.svg.png http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FQdIn_JRETo/Tl-iKBE5mBI/AAAAAAAAAvA/6Vl3k1jyEGM/s1600/Cleveland+Cavaliers+logo.png In talking to the stakeholders, I found that they would like to move slightly away from the corporate look and more towards a creative and unique logo such as the ones above. This logo will be used in a larger format in the centre of tshirts which will be sold as merchandise to create a revenue stream for the academy.
