Forensic Assurance is a proficiency testing company for federal, state, local and international forensic science laboratories. We currently offer proficiency tests in fingerprints, ballistics and DNA.

What colors would you like?

I would prefer conservative colors, such as black, grey, dark blue, or dark green. Willing to consider other colors, and will notify you if I like the logo but would prefer a different color scheme.

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

Many of my customers are law enforcement crime laboratories. As such, these labs have a laboratory seal. I would be interested in using a seal (category "Illustrative") as my logo. One of the laboratory seals that I really like is the FBI Laboratory seal (google image search "FBI Laboratory Seal"), and I like how the FBI Laboratory seal incorporates images of the forensic science disciplines - it would be cool if my logo has firearms, DNA and fingerprints incorporated into the seal.

I am also interested in the category "Initial", and would consider a design from this category that is clean and modern.

I will be using this logo on my website, during presentations, on business cards, and on stationary. One of the details that will be considered is how the logo will look when large (such as during a presentation on a large screen) as well as small (on a business card).

One more thing... The name of the company is "Forensic Assurance", and the product the company produces is "Proficiency Testing Services". The name of the company needs to be a part of the logo, and the type of product the company produces (Proficiency Testing Services) does not need to be in the logo - however, feel free to include if you are able to find a creative way of incorporating "Proficiency Testing Services" in the logo.

Thank you for all of the submissions so far. I think that a number of the submissions are excellent, and I would be proud to display them on my website. A number of the submissions thus far have been laboratory seals, which was requested in the brief. I am also interested in the "initial" category, and encourage the designers to submit some of these designs as well.
