I am open to the graphic designers ideas, but I'd warn against recycled "roofline" type of logos. I am leaning more towards a retro, rustic, and/or craftsman feel. If you can work the aforementioned into a roofline type logo, then great!

I'm leaning towards a brand, seal, or stamp enclosed type of logo, but I welcome your creative ideas.

Please keep it easy to read, and do not get carried away with illegible cursive fonts.

I tried not to be too specific and trust that you guys will come up with something great that I can use for my business forever or at least a very long time.

Can I get some retro type of logos to look at? I want the logo to make my company appear that it's been established. Please keep it of the craftsman/rustic feel. I want it to feel construction-y. If that makes any sense. Guys/gals. I own Adobe Illustrator. I can throw some typefaces together with swooshes other simple graphic elements. I'm looking for something "professional".

I really like these Spirael. I was thinking "character" but never put it in my brief. Thanks for reading my mind. I like #5 & 6 better because of it's readability. I think the ribbon separates the text really well. #3 & 4 seem a little unbalanced due to the sloping "floor" of the house structure. Also not a big fan of type in 3 & 4
