There isn't a competitor for this university. It is both learning and artisan in nature. Where individuals will learn to work with steel tools shaping beautiful woods and other materials in to bowls, vase, candle sticks, pens, yo-yo, etc.

What we had in mind was something like Woodturning University and some sort of cool graphic that would have some relevance to turning. So far #1-4, 7-9, 13-17 are most like what we were thinking of. You are the experts here. Use your imagination. Just to show you how creative a person can be with a lathe here is a link and the ribbon shown at this site is actually three bowls turned without bottoms, cut and reassembled. http://www.tahoeturner.com/gallery/100.html This guy is a the top of the game.

#5 seems more like a wood carving logo rather than a tuning logo. It seems to be going down the line of a shield logo and wasn't what we are looking for.
