The foundation's name: "Maendeleo".

"Maendeleo" is a small Dutch foundation with charitative activities in Kenya, with its own projects as well as aiming at supporting other organisations with similar goals: create opportunities for disadvantaged vulnerable women and children to improve their livelihoods and that of their communities, through self help, and support development of bright young persons through education or enabling start-up of income generating activities.The general objectives are to assist people to escape extreme poverty and enable them to live a decent and independent life, and contribute positively to their family and community.
The foundation does not have a religious or political or nationalistic background.
The swahili word Maendeleo means progress, development, improvement.
We are looking for a logo that will often be used in colour or colours, but will also look fine when used in black on a light background or in white or single light colour on a dark background.
Colours to be bright, "young" emanation/impression.
The logo could well be based on the word Maendeleo, with or without a pay-off.
Or it could be an expressive, easy to recognize logo to be used separate from the word Maendeleo, and the payoff.
Present idea about the pay-off is "for brighter futures".
