Logo for Audio Services Agency
Sample Culture
No
Sample culture is an agency providing Noise Reduction, Sound Design, Mixing, Mastering and Post-Production Audio services to Film-makers, Musicians and etc.
Sample Culture relates to Samples of Sound which are often manipulated to create Audio Experiences. The Sample of Sound is a digital concept where an Audio Signal is rapidly sliced at approx. 44100 times a second and a snapshot bearing the value in amplitude is recorded at each sample. These samples can be manipulated digitally to result in a different sound. These days the whole art of Sound Design and many other Audio Services revolves around manipulation of Sound Samples, which is what the word 'Culture' aims to capture.
Below are links to images that are common representations for samples of sound.

Do not be restricted by the waveform. The sample is just one point in time.

Please visit http://sampleculture.com to get an idea of the colour scheme. I think I would prefer Sober colours to bright ones in general but do not be limited by this. If it is key to your design use it. I would ideally like logos for dark and light schemes. The logo will be used by partners and wherever commercial visibility is an option.
not sure
The logo is NOT: CDs, Vinyl Discs, Tapes, speaker symbols, etc. These are too cliche in my opinion and I think this is the one I am particularly strict about.
The Logo I am looking for is best described as: Clean, Confident, Simple, Minimalist. Personality/Attitude is best described as Gentle, Witty, Friendly.
I would ideally imagine incorporating sample(s) of sound into the logo symbol somehow, however this isn't a strict requirement, especially for those who are familiar with the concept here and have better ideas on I might take to.
Please do NOT be limited by the wave shape in any way. Showing a wave of some sort or outlining a waveform in the logo is optional. I would rather look to somehow depict the mangling of sound samples.
