I do not want the traditional academic cap/gown. And if a book is used, not the traditional way - it needs to used in a classy manner.

I am looking for a logo and theme whose colours I can use in the decor of my institute, whose logo can be used standalone and with other colours, and both the logo and font leave a mark on the market and in marketing materials. It should also be classy enough to use on learning materials. Modern and classy, yet bold. I know im not of much help, as I am open to ideas until something really jumps out at me. And there are a number of good submissions, but nothing perfect so far.

Hi All. While I am not totally sure yet which logo I want, as I am looking at something jumping out at me, I need something I can use across signange, stationery, billboards, etc. So, clear and classy in both shape and font. Very rough ideas: https://cdn.tutsplus.com/vector/uploads/legacy/articles/linkb_30logos/10.jpg http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/171/a/9/abstract_logo_design_by_sinjonavi-d3jh326.jpg http://justcreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/8-bracketing.jpg http://www.fuelyourcreativity.com/files/2008/06/zip-nwjbje.png http://ibrandstudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/best-logos-GreenZest.jpg http://blog.reallysi.com/Portals/25833/images/mhe-logo-medium.gif http://webneel.com/sites/default/files/images/manual/logo-all/33-best-school-logo.gif As you can see, my taste is still wide, but above gives you an idea of what clarity I am looking for in a logo. Thank you!
