Logo for a tennis club
TC Brughia
No
Tennis club (TC) Brughia is one of the largest tennis clubs in Belgium, in terms of membership and infrastructure. The club is located in Bruges, a historical (medieval) city in the north of Belgium. With our logo, we which to express the branch in which we are active - tennis - and a certain warm but modern atmosphere. People of all ages can come and play tennis in our club. We offer a lot of activities and tournaments for children, adults and older people. We do not aim at social classes with a higher income: we certainly do not wish to brand ourselves as an elite club. Tennis should be affordable for and open to everyone.
The new logo will be used on our website, facebook page, letters, clothes and maybe cars.

Traditional, the colors that are often used for tennis logos are yellow, green, black and red. We don't have a preference, but wish to avoid an abundance of colors. The logo should be simple and effective.
not sure
We once had a logo designed (in attachment). The lines in this logo represent the abbreviation of our club's name: Tc B (TC Brughia). The new logo can be partially based on this logo. However, there are a few things that bug us in this logo:
- It's too fuzzy (the lines are not well defined).
- It's too open. The new logo should be more condensed.
- It's too abstract to understand it easily (most people don't recognize 'Tc b' in it).
So, if you would be so kind to keep this in mind. Besides that, you can try just about anything. 'TC Brughia' should me mentioned in the logo though. We also considered taking into account the fact that we are located in the historical city of Bruges (more specifically: close to the 'Kruispoort' gate which leads you to the historical city center). It's definitely not a requirement to include this historical aspect, it is just a thought.
The city of Ghent did this in their old logo, which was pretty neat (http://www.kotatgent.be/sites/default/files/images/page/main/logo_StadGent_cmyk_pad.jpg). But again, definitely not a requirement. Logos like the following are also sweet: http://www.koddaerttennis.be/sites/default/files/tcdk_neg.png
Please, give it a go! Thanks in advance!
