  The deadline is near but currently none of the submitted designs is picked up by my client, Soda Papa. We created a draft based on the comments from Soda Papa and uploaded for your reference. Please based on it and make your own version then submit before the deadline. Here are some guidelines for the potential winner: (1) The text "Soda Papa" should be in brush script style, but don't just use the font, add some personal touch to make it unique. (2) The three green stripes from original logo should remain on bottom, but bend it with curve to make some waves. The stripes are not necessary to be the same width(you can make them like brush strokes) and no gap between the three stripes is preferred. (3) Add some bubbles both on the stripes and above, and and a splash on the top stripe as the uploaded draft file. Sorry for no providing these information earlier, we just got those feedback from Soda Papa and hopefully it's not too late.

  For those who wonder why this project is put on hold, it's because when I paid with my credit card, the security mechanism of credit card company didn't recognize the transaction and declined the payment. After I called the customer service of the bank and verified I am the rightful card owner, the transaction is completed and payment is made. But due to the multiple declined records, Guru Corporation(this platform) put my project on hold temporarily and ask me to provide the scanned image of my credit card to prove I am the card owner. I already sent the photo of my credit card and Guru Corporation should re-open my project soon. The security mechanism is a good thing to prevent credit card fraud, but it's kind of stupid that I have to prove myself to both sides...... (sigh)

  First of all, we'd like to thank all designers who submitted your artworks. They all look great! Since we may not provided enough information for you in the beginning, here are some thoughts and comments for you: (1) The text "Soda Papa" is the company name and should be part of the logo. How you iconify it and make a beautiful sign as a trademark will be the main topic for us to choose the winner. (2) The new logo is not necessary to be a circle shape, but should remain in a square area in case we need to crop into circle shape under certain circumstances. (3) Though we are open to any new design and idea, we prefer to remain the three green stripes. You can base on the stripe elements and add your creativity. For example, curve the stripes to represent waves, add some bubbles or water drops, a splash on the surface.... Use your imagination to turn those dumb stripes into something beautiful and can remind people the cool and fresh feeling about soda drinks. (4) We know it's difficult to show the "freedom" and "adventure" spirit in an iconized image, so it's not necessary to put "Pirate" element in your design. (Not everyone consider the "Pirate" as representative of "freedom" and "adventure".) However, we are planning to use pirate as our avatar design(in cute and adorable style). It will be a plus if you can submit a draft to show us your drawing skill. We may invite you to a 1-to-1 project when we decided to create the avatar. This won't affect the logo contest, so you can focus on logo design if you are not interesting in our avatar project afterward.
