Describe who/what this design is about

The Gage Institute will be dedicated to studying biological hazards in the workplace, home and community, with an emphasis on the assessment and characterization of bioaerosols. Airborne particles, toxins, allergens and immunomodulators derived from bacteria, fungi and viruses pervade all but the most stringently controlled of environments. Bioaerosol exposures cause or exacerbate most serious diseases of humans. For these, understanding the natural history of exposure is key to disease prevention.
