The National Association of Health Services Executive is developing a comprehensive professional development program for mid-career healthcare leaders with a high potential of obtaining and retaining Senior and C-suite level positions. The mission of the Career Transformation Center (CTC) is to broaden, cultivate and sustain the pipeline of Black healthcare leaders by advancing the careers of high potential individuals, through the provision of premier leadership development opportunities. The CTC’s vision is a high penetration of Black executive level leaders within the healthcare industry who make a significant impact on improving the health status of minorities. The CTC aspires to close the major gaps in education and leadership development systems by:
• Delivering education, awareness or training for critical hard and soft skills necessary for career advancement.
• Exposing participants to high-impact career opportunities.
• Connecting participants with inspiring leaders.
• Creating unique networking forums to build “door opening” relationships, identify mentors and connect with high performing peers.
• Providing personalized coaching to unleash potential.
About NAHSE
The National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) is a non-profit association of Black health care executives founded in 1968 for the purpose of promoting the advancement and development of Black health care leaders, and elevating the quality of health care services rendered to minority and underserved communities.
NAHSE's purpose is to ensure greater participation of minority groups in the health field. Its basic objective is to develop and maintain a strong viable national body to more effectively have input in the national health care delivery system. It has provided a vehicle for Blacks to effectively participate in the design, direction and delivery of quality health care to all people.
