We're inspired by some vintage beer labels with big bold old-timey font. Like something you'd see on a new hip barber shop. Perhaps that type of font for "McLeod" with a sleek retro-font for ELECTRIC. We're thinking "McLEOD" above and the word "ELECTRIC" underneath either lined up perfectly, or perhaps the "E" in "ELECTRIC" is lined up directly beneath the "E" in "McLEOD" - allowing space for an icon or image in that negative space. We're also open to the 2 words being side by side too. We want it to exude reliability, reputation, and style. Our client base is typically high-end new home builds or luxury renovations. The company is based in Victoria, BC, a hip area where craft beers are well-loved. In terms of an idea for an image- we want to avoid the stereotypical lightning bolt or light bulb, unless it's done with a new twist that looks clever. Because it is a mountainous island we live on with a city at the coast, one idea is the use of the initial "M" as the mountain horizon line and the glow of the city's lights as a horizontal "E".
