Describe who/what this design is about

This logo will be representing my private practice where I offer both mental health and marital counseling to my clients. The aesthetic of my business is largely inspired by rivers. The guiding quote on the homepage of my website reads: "A person is a fluid process, not a fixed or static entity; a flowing river of change." This quote serves two purposes: to demonstrate my love of water and rivers as a native of Montana and to represent the ability for people to change and overcome challenges. I want these two purposes to be represented in my logo by incorporating an image of a river. I want people to see the logo and feel a sense of calm and a sense of hope for change.

The most prominent feature of my desired logo is a river. More specifically, I imagine a more calm river and not a raging river full of churns and white caps. Here in Montana, we have many different rivers with many different colors. My favorite rivers are those that contain rich blues and forest greens. My focus is not on the power or swiftness of the river but rather on its fluidity and and ability to keep moving regardless of any debris or obstacles within it.
