My thoughts are black & white for the colours of piano keys BUT not limited to that. Perhaps green of trees, blue (or some other colour) of mountains, maybe white snow on top?

not sure

I am looking for a simple design, maybe use of the words BlackForestPiano to shape piano keys or a grand piano but honestly, the field is open, go to town!

The last thing I ever want to do is waste peoples time, even in a competition. I was taken by the logo submitted by Sueblu from #1 but thought that can't be right, picking the very first one. Almost a week has gone by, everyone putting in their ideas, making changes as requested but I still kept going back to #1. At this point, I will be working with Sueblu to make a few more changes before I declare final, so please do not spend anymore time on this project. I am truly grateful for everyone around the world putting in their ideas, so many to choose from and such talent. Thank you all!!! -Tuner

#22 & 21 look the same so I'll refer to #22. The flip from #10 looks good and thanks for making reverse images. I'm having trouble with the 70's Peter Max (showing my age) font. Problem is I don't quite know what to tell you to do with the font. To start with, can you "back off" the exaggerated curving, possibly make Black small, Forest med and Piano large? Namely more conservative, easier to read.

#13, piano is too long in width, cut off the whole right side starting under the 't' in forest. Curve the word Piano underneath Black Forest

#10 Can you flip the long side (Bass) to the left side and curved side (Treble) to the right side

#8 is out. #9, can you shorten the width of the logo, like stopping at the P of PIANO. Then move the word PIANO underneith Black Forest (below the curve). Also, make the text black.

#7 certinaly could have had its "roots" from piano forest, should that be selected as the winner, I would assume Logoguru would confirm no intellectual property infringement, until then Black Forest Piano continues to encourge submittals.

#7, very cleaver. Stick with green for the trees (sharps) & white for the naturals. Try to outline the keys so you don't have to put a big background behind it. Remove the grass along the bottom. Put the words in Green and correct the spelling of forest.

#6, thanks for making all these adjustments!!! I do like the curve of the letters but Piano is still ackward. I don't know if I'm describing this correctly, perhaps if you started the words at the very start of the keys and then the word PIANO might curve better. Also, lets go back to the original grouping for the trees but move them all to the right so they are towards the 'top' of the hill.

Sorry don't care for #4. For #5, let's see what you can do with black and white. Drop the mountains and blue shading

Thanks for the update on #3, actually I liked the curve of Black Forest Piano in #1, but I thought the 'no' in Piano looked off (touching the keys, not following the curve). Also (not sure about this) maybe play around with the trees, space them out.

Wow, great start! Let's start with #1, I really like your use of the sharp black keys for the tree trunks. Try eliminating the mountains and the curving of the name doesn't follow well at the end. Perhaps move it a little more left to center it? Now #2, is there a way to merge the sharp mountain lines and smooth piano outline so they are one? I guess could you morph them?
