The new logo "must" use the main logo of the organization, KACST, which is here: http://www.isu.net.sa/TESTIMG1/main_logo.jpg
What required is to either augment it or add few lines/ shapes to it to give the flavour of the "Internet".

    I like design # 6 as it has the emblem. However, the "internet" symbols are not Homogeneous with the "two triangle". It looks very much separated. I would love to see clever ideas by involving the "two triangles" in the new logo.

    I would like to keep the emblem of the main logo. The department name is "Internet Services Department, ISU". You may play with the main logo (the two triangles) or in the surrounding space.
