Tagline

Jesus in the Old Testament

Include this tagline in my logo.

Describe who/what this design is about

The goal of this logo is for an upcoming teaching series where we will be looking through the Old Testament and seeing how it is connected to Jesus even though some of it was written thousands of years before He was born. I like to say that Jesus is woven through the pages of scripture. I would like people to see how "HISTORY" is actually "His Story" (The story of Jesus). I am looking for a logo that could really connect with this idea.

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

Some of the ideas that I have been thinking of for this logo are as follows:

1. Spell out the word HISTORY in a font like Gotham and find a way for HIS to be red and STORY to be black and the S in both words to blend or connect in some way so that you would see HISTORY and HIS STORY at the same time.

or

2. Since the idea behind the teachings is that Jesus is woven through scripture, I could see the logo having a "string art" or "Nail and thread" look and feel to it. This would be using what would appear to be red thread or red and black thread to create the word HISTORY. I have attached a few examples.
