Business logo - Hybrid Controls (HyCon)

No

Hybrid Controls is an engineering firm that designs electronic control systems. Our main products are geared towards control systems of hybrid vehicles (think volt or prius only bigger), but the company is set up to also provide engineering consulting in different spaces. All of our products are custom electronics and software. The logo should be professional in design and hopefully augment the electronics or "green" aspect of our products. One friend had designed a logo with an electrical plug over the name of "HyCon"

The logo will be used on a website, presentations, as well as on printed materials. Multiple colors are acceptable, but we want to be able to logo coffee mugs, shirts, and other promotional items.

You can decide but I was thinking about green, black, silver, or something in the blue range.

Hybrid60 is our main customer at this point in time:

I would like our logo to complement theirs but NOT be of the same style. Many presentations will include both logos and maybe a few additional ones of other suppliers.

Draft #369 by srcreative, and draft #403 and #404 by comlogo are derivative of #360 by sallu, therefore have been taken down.

Our controls deal with vehicle electronic controls. One of the logos almost resembles turn signals on the dash of a car... It might be interesting to work the gear shift lever into the company logo (PRNDL). Any ideas?

Last input for the evening... We want a logo that can stand alone (presentations, stationary, mugs, t-shirts, etc) but will also want to use this logo on our website: HyConInc.com If there is a way to work the logo into something with the .com, that would be helpful. Thank you!

Another thought - Throw some different colors at me! We don't have to stick to "Green". Keep it high tech and professional.

Looking good! Looking very good. I seem to be migrating toward logos with clearly legible text and some form of graphic. I do like the grpahics that combine the " H & C" but don't want that to take over too much. It might be nice to see some more logos that try to work in an electronics theme (plug, circuit board, ammeter, heck - surprise me). Not that it is required, but it might be good if looking at the logo gave customers some more of an indication of what we do. Although the "green" theme works well, I'm not sure we want leaves or flowers... maybe more of the angle of re-cycle (regenerative braking) or efficiency based... Just a few thoughts! Looking forward to seeing more top notch design!! Great work!
