Business Logo for Gloria & Mabel

Gloria & Mabel

Yes

Our company sells high-end branded women's jeans in a private showroom, which has a luxury shopping environment. Our clientele is wealthy tourists who want a unique shopping experience and access to the most sought after brands of jeans. We would like our website, where our logo will be prominently featured, to emulate that same luxury shopping environment. A few logos/ websites we like are:

http://www.serenaandlily.com/

Thank you very much for everyone's hard work and awesome designs that were submitted. I am very much torn between my two favorite designs, but I will make a final decision as soon as possible. Thanks again.

If this helps, I just briefly wanted to explain why I thought of going with the rubber stamp font/ effect for our logo. We are a high-end branded denim retailer, but not only that we are curators of denim who seek brands and designs that are high quality with attention to fit or wash. And we try to see what our customers like in terms of fit, color, etc. and our stylists suggest what jeans they should purchase. So in effect we would like to be the Pandora Radio of denim making real suggestions to our customers. We would like to be the experts who you can trust, and all denim that we put on our site or in our showroom has been STAMPED with the approval of our experienced stylists. I don't know if this helps, but perhaps it gives some perspective. Thanks!

In seeing all of the designs I believe all lower case (rather than all upper case as I previously thought) works best for our logo. Thank you for working with me on all these changes and iterations!

I also very much like the symbol of #62 and #63. It is creative and is what we are looking for in that it is not overly masculine or feminine.

I really like the rubber stamp effect of #55 and I think it best represents the feel of our company.

I just uploaded a couple of files for a rubber stamp font. Please see the comments. Also, please note that the text colors that seem to work the best are #42, #43 and #18. Thank you.

I like the direction of color of #43. I was actually going to suggest using RGB Hexdecimal 336699 (RGB 0÷25 51, 102, 153).

I like #42 a lot in terms of it being a clean, sophisticated logo with a clever symbol . One thing I would like to do is soften its look a little bit. Perhaps we can try using all lower case letters and a slightly lighter color to add a touch of femininity. Also, I would like to see if there are symbols that can be created using lower case g and m, but please stay away from cursive fonts that connect the 2 letters. Thank you.

I like the direction we are moving with the designs where the symbol is to the left of the text. I also like the more traditional typefaces. I would like to see what the designs would look like if we used a more gray/ darker gray (rather than grayish blue) color. With that being said feel free to perhaps use one other color as a highlight of sorts - perhaps for the "&" or the line separating the symbol and text, etc. Also, feel free to play with the "GM" a bit more and perhaps make it look more like a symbol (whether it is a box around the letters or some other shapes, etc). Thank you

Please feel free to create a symbol for the logo that's not necessarily just "GM" or be creative with the "GM" (I think #11 is heading in that direction). The symbol can also be off to the left and not necessarily on top of "Gloria & Mabel." Thanks!

I think we are definitely moving in the right direction with the designs. If we can add a touch of femininity I think we will be spot on. We are focused on selling to the female luxury consumer at the moment, but we don't want to rule out selling to male consumers in the future. So it doesn't need to be completely feminine, but just a touch. Thanks

Thank you for the submissions thus far (#1-5). These designs are great in that they are clean and sophisticated. I would like to see what the logo can look like if we move more towards a traditional feel and a bit less modern (perhaps a bit less of the rounded fonts).
