Vikus provides a web-based New Hire Management system to approx 50 mid-cap companies across the US. We compete with companies like http://www.icims.com, http://www.taleo.com, and http://www.newtonsoftware.com.
We have been working with this idea http://www.vikus.com, and are ready to blow the others out of the water from a branding perspective :)

Vikus is a latin derivative for the word "farm." In the past, we have used a wheat stalk / icon in our logos. If this was creatively used, we might bring it back :)
