We have a 20-year old charitable family foundation based in Denver, CO. We invest in education and community. Our focus areas include school leadership, student enrichment, policy, and charter school growth. We are reform-oriented.

Our foundation's name is recognizable in the community, and we want a logo to represent it/our work. We don't have a website, but the logo will be used on letterhead, business cards, email signatures, and sponsorship materials.

    We are enthusiastic about a couple of designs from both "vikilogos" and "Ken Arrok". We are not sure if we want a picture graphic in the logo or not, but it is still a possibility. Ken Arrok did a nice job of paying attention to our description of our focus, and creatively integrating it into a design. We also like the idea of having just our name, with our initials to the left of the name. One creative idea that we like is having the "F" also look slightly like a "J", as "Carson" is a combination of two names - Car(roll) and (John)son. That is a nice "private" meaning for us in the logo. We are happy to see some new ideas that are along these lines, but this is our thinking so far. Thanks to everyone who has submitted creative ideas that fall within our description!
