The name of my company is bitmatters. This logo will represent an IT consulting company that specializes in server, firewall and networking support and services.
In once word, I would like the logo to convey "professional".
The impression that I would like people to have when they see this would be: "Wow. Cool logo."

I am open to suggestions as I do not have specific colors in mind for this logo. However, to give you a hint on my personal preferences, I would prefer a blue/grey combination over a green/yellow one if I only that those two options to chose from.

My initial preference in the company name is to somehow to make each word unique, such as in using different colors for each word, but not through the capitolization of the first letter in both words. (i.e. bitmatters instead of Bit Matters) I would prefer to keep the two words together to make one word, like the .COM. However, I am open to ideas here in unique ways to display this.
Ideally, in a perfect world, the logo would appear to be as nice in greyscale as it would in color.
The font that will be used for the logo is very important. A description to apply to this would be clean, simple and elegant. I would lean towards using all lowercase characters as a preference, but am open to viewing a capitol B and M as well.
