The Carmel Artomobilia (www.carmelartomobilia.com) is in it's 4th year and we are seeking a exclusive, high-end, contemporary indentity. The event is located an Arts & Design District which features architectural arches (http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1279/710556444_adeca56bb7.jpg)... And the event is focus on the celebration of the art and design of the automobile. I would like to incorporate an abstract refernce to the arches as well as classic automobiles in a clean, clever, and contemporary way.

A logo treatment that we like is the California Academy of Sciences (http://www.calacademy.org/)... We also like the Whitney font. Again, clean and clever and something that communicates a high-end enthusiast and collector car event. Other events are Meadow Brooke (http://concoursusa.org/), Pebble Beach (http://www.pebblebeachconcours.net/), Amilia Island (http://www.ameliaconcours.org/)... So, while I don't like their logos specifically, their websites will give you a sense for the cars and the audience...
