Since its inception in 1851, the World Expo has celebrated community, societal advancements, and the improvement of the quality of life. It is one of the world’s oldest and largest international events, and many countries compete for one of their cities to host this grand multicultural gathering.
In 2011, UAE submitted a bid to host the World Expo 2020, competing with Russia, Brazil, Turkey, and Thailand . Two years later, Dubai was selected as the host, and the city looks forward to hosting this extraordinary event.

For the fun of it, we at ZillionDesigns are also celebrating Dubai’s victory through a logo design contest! We’re looking for fun, unique designs that represent the proud city of Dubai and the unity of world culture. Dubai 2020 is not officially sponsoring this contest, and will not use the winning logo officially. However, if your design is chosen, you could win $500 and name recognition!
