Apollo (www.apolloburgers.com) is an 11-unit, family-owned quick casual "better burger" restaurant, with upperscale but affordable burgers, sandwiches and salads. We'd like a logo that reflects a somewhat modern (yet accessible) feel that can be incorporated into our marketing materials, including pole and monument signs, window clings, drinking cups, menu boards, promotional materials, delivery menus, and the like. Our current logo is simply a (poorly) stylized lettering of our name that's been in use for nearly 30 years. Our new logo should be bring us into the 21st century, but we need to essentially incorporate a piece or concept from the current one to held bridge the transition. We'd like an image to promote along side an updated typeface. There's no strong need to play on the "Greek God" concept, though we're not completely opposed to one that is well done. Our colors are primarily red, black, yellow and white. Our entire menu is made fresh and to order. The hamburgers and sandwiches are made over an open-flamed broiler and our kitchen is fully visible by our customers.
