The Copper Still, LLC

The Copper Still, Wine & Spirits

Yes

The Copper Still is a boutique Wine & Spirits store located outside of Nashville Tennessee. Middle Tennessee has a long history with alcohol production and sales dating back centuries when the Scotch first began to inhabit appalachia. Our boutique aesthetic is one that seeks to remind customers of an earlier time, when moonshine was made with Still and transported by whiskey runners during prohibition. In addition to a functioning antique copper still, we will have large wooden antique Jack Daniels-style barrels as well as a partially restored whiskey runner truck (1948 Willys Pickup).

Black, white, a semi-dark copper color, and maybe a yellow. Open to other colors as well but we don’t like loud, bright colors.

not sure

We like things that have texture, maybe wood grain. We also like the idea of text that looks antique or like something from the 1920’s.

Are you asking for a logo or a sign?

#33, I like the barrel. Try working with a different font, and convert to B&W. Try to work off of the 1:4 dimensions.

#37, "Still" has two LLs. Feedback is that the sypbol looks a bit phallic. I'd like the text to be more prominent and legible from the road, at a distance, in the car.

All, I'd like to see a few options where the "Wine & Spirits" text is a bit larger. Local feedback on copy is that folks won't know what we are selling. Thank you.

#17, I like the dimensions, but can you incorporate and older font style? Remember, the aesthetic is antique. Think 1920's. Maybe additional graphic element.

I like number #16 and #15. Can you incorporate a whiskey barrel?

A few designers have asked what type of font that I like and if i have any feedback on design elements. FONTS After a quick search I found a few: old newspaper types, crash numbering, and antique types. I didn't review that many but this should give you and idea. POSSIBLE DESIGN ELEMENTS Whiskey Barrel. Possible a whiskey still if done correctly. If you need design inspiration, go to Jack Daniel's. (pun implied)
