SaBaiDee means 'Hello' in Laotian. The restaurant is small and family owned. This is a Thai and Laos restaurant with food that is homemade. Our plans are to keep this restaurant going for our children and grandchildren. We all migrated from Laos back in the 80's. We want to make sure that we pass on culture and tradition to our children and food has always been an importance in our family. Whenever we get together, we are always surrounded with laughter, food and love. So this logo isn't just going to be on our building as a sign but it will be our family's trademark. We will use it on social media accounts, our website, menus, etc.

My idea for this logo is for it to look inviting and welcoming, but simple. In place of the letter 'i', I would like a pair of praying hands. The praying hand symbolizes how we welcome or say hi to each other. It shows respect. I would like to use our countries flower, the Plumeria in place of the dot on the letter 'i'. The inside of our restaurant has a light lime green trim, I would like the letters to be close to the same color.
