Describe who/what this design is about

Our vision is to really encompass all sports, Professional, college and local to the area sports. Not just specifically sports in the Jacksonville area but sports in general.
We want the logo to be fun, upscale but not snooty. this facility is in a blue collar area. This area is growing rapidly and bringing in a more diverse set of people. We would like to find a way through our logo to attract these new people to the facility.

What colors would you like?

We currently do not have a color scheme so that will be left up to the artists. We want the artists to envision what would attract themselves to a sports bar and grill and by seeing a logo make them want to come in.

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

Like I stated before we want our interior to match local sports teams but the logo needs to encompass not just local sports in Jacksonville but all sports in general. Our original thoughts were to do something fun with the A or the X in the name. We have photos of the outside of the building currently if that would help you to see what it is that we are talking about.

Artists... I am seeing alot of what I would consider "corporate" style logos. I really have a different vision in mind. I have attached several examples of what I consider fun and upscale types of logos for inspiration.

keep in mind that this business is in Jacksonville Florida and one of our requirements was that it encompass local as well as national sports. one of our original concepts was to have a dolphin with a beer in one hand and a basketball in the other. Golf is big in this area as the TPC at Sawgrass Tournament is held there and is going on this weekend. I am not saying I want a golf theme but is one of the big things people like to do there. There are 6 professional sports teams in Jacksonville so if you do some research on these teams it may generate some ideas but I don't want to get into any trademark or royalty issues.

So far draft #45 has met more of our vision than most any of the other drafts so far. We really are trying to make a drastic change to this business and we really need our logo to POP
