Describe who/what this design is about

This project is the logo for a web underwriting application that will allow the company to go from paper files to paperless. The name Pioneer is because this is being done in a new way and we are the first to develop it in the way we are.

What colors would you like?

Not too many colors but could have shading/grading of a particular color. Blue, Green or Grays would be best or a combo of them.

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

My original idea was a wagon wheel type design to do with the pioneers but that seemed too old fashioned. Anything that conotes a first time effort and taking a chance.

The current company logo is a globe tilted to the right with just the grid lines on it and not continents. There are also five stars in a circle in the middle of it that surroung the axis line.

Red is out - blue and a darker green works best for me. Like the ones with globe and stars but also could go for something more kitchey that has to do with the idea of the name of the project - pioneer. The name Admiral does not have to be part of the logo.

I like this one much better. I instead of the star can you maybe do someting with a globe.
