Describe who/what this design is about

Would like to modernize and update the current logo design - using the same graphic icon (but modernize) - font style is flexible and would like to have a color and black and white version.
Here is the current logo on our website: http://www.innovationcabinetry.com/ (website will be rebranded accordingly) - open to new color choices as well but wouldn't mind seeing an updated version with our current colors (and a black and white version, too)

Google evolution of apple logo, coco cola logo, etc for examples of what I mean by modernizing logo. thanks :)

Maybe make the logo look for 3D-ish. This looks too similar to what we have and what I can make by changing the font.. we need something more that can wow us. Thanks for your submissions!
