Yes

Global work - Corporate experience with a mega corporation - The good feeling of working

Here is my website: www.schoolofwork.com

In Website’s front page I have added:
We help working people around the world to keep learning and developing.
It describes what I do.

Why this:
After I left the corporate world and after I spoke with others who, like me, went through their working life focusing on the task only, one thing became clear:
We would have enjoyed our work more and we could have attained more, if we were encouraged to take a little time out of our working routines to learn more about how we can do what we did better.
This could have been done by specific training, attending seminars, taking a few exec MBA courses, selecting good mentors etc. Easy stuff…we just passed it up, or we were not aware we could.
So…in my post corporate life I do just that: I advice, train teach people how to enjoy work and attain more….all over the world…because when it comes to working we are all very much alike.
I wanted to add something about the joy of work. Too much info in one page though.
The next paragraph describes what is asked below (Can’t paste)
To reflect what “The School of Work company” is all about:

MUST SEE THE WEBSITE BEFORE SUBMITTING CONCEPTS AS IT GIVES YOU A GOOD IDEA OF WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: http://www.schoolofwork.com/
Please go through the pages, and hopefully the message of what this company is all about will be clear. If NOT…got to back to redesign !
It may help if you also open the PDF documents of “Good words – Testimonials” and “Workshops Outlines”
All available in website to download

Many thanks to all for the nice ideas that are coming through...impressive stuff and very original. Consensus from my guys: - Use of globe is welcome...in all kind and shapes and colors - Use of text is 3 lines, to the right of globe...also good in all fonts and shapes - Challenge...What else can we do to convey "Corporate Work and learning" combining image and text. Thank you...I am amazed with the creative ideas that have come considering time and content provided. Bravo !

To think on...How about ideas where we only have a logo ...no text or initials. Just a simple image that could reflect the brief contents ? Thank you

So far #10 and # 15 seem interesting. They both use SOW as a start... So...it seems that you were all right in thinking of using initials. Please include using initials...my apologies. Lesson for me: Creative designing minds should be listened to ! Best thanks to all.

Attention Designers!! MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files. Thanks, MB/LDG/LS Team

Dear designers..nice progress...thank you Suggest we stop the idea of using INITIALS...SOW just doesn't sound exciting. Pls note some points missing from the brief. It was on original...probably got lots in the virtual world: Describe who/what this design is about*: A - Using global corporate working experience of more than 30 years and in more than 60 countries we help younger generations of global corporate citizens to: • Better understand and appreciate the joy of work by perpetually learning and developing. • Improve their skills in areas where School of Work offers expertise • Help them to attain full career potential and growth by best utilizing their education, work experience and their professional and personal networks. B - People who have visited my website use the following words to describe it: “Energetic, Positive feeling, Happy customers, International experience, unusual but interesting life and work, nice testimonials from many industries and geographies” I would want my audience to think in similar lines when they see the logo design. Have rated the submissions...and guest's # 5 seems interesting. Thank you again. Hope the additional info helps

Interesting. # 2 - Disregard...No use of SOW # 3 - Good color combination. Suggest logos that can be drawn by hand easily ? Pls see other comments based on #1 Design is nice ...and the the challenge: how can we blend Global experience / Work effectiveness / Perpetual Learning And...keep the logo as the prominent message carrier...less on the text Show text in 2 rows ? Best tx

Item: Draft 1, by Jupiterjett Thank you...nice start in terms of simplicity. Please note my thoughts: - The option "INITIALS" was not selected in brief...my mistake probably... - The industry is not Education...it's "Consulting / Training / MBA teaching and lecturing"...I am not a teacher in a school...I work with adult executives and potential executives in companies, organizations, and business universities - No need to try to do this quickly...no rush from my side...best to digest the brief. - To get a better idea: It's important that designer looks at the website and testimonials (http://www.schoolofwork.com/) - Too much black... - Text: Fine...can it be used in such a way where it supports the logo...with the logo being the prominent item ? - Logo...Good in its simplicity, and color is fine. Other ideas along similar lines ? Thank you very much for this first idea.I like the simplicity direction. S. Serpanos
