A rape crisis center logo must convey support, empathy and strength to victims. It must also be comfortable and inviting to donors and sponsors. Also, open for suggestions on whether or not to include our 7 town service area mentioned under the tagline box.
Your site made me choose an "indistry" type, but we are really none of the above. We provide Victim Services and Community Education.

We have been tossing around many ideas. Our current logo is one big box with our name in it. This will no longer work for us. We want something inviting to both victims and potential donors. We have been considering a pinwheel (which often represents child abuse) but we need our logo to work for both children and adults, male and female victims. If we combine the symbolism of childhood innocence, movement and animation and the unseen forces behind our inner voice, the pinwheel symbolizes the idea of powerful energy.
We are open to suggestions of any design, including a pinwheel (pinwheel stick open for discussion since we want to represents adults as well as children).
I was only allowed to choose one, but the design could be symbol or abstract.
I have heard great things about Mycroburst so please don't let me down. We don't have money to spare.
