My business has two aspects: either I'll teach people how to do their own social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) or I'll do it for them. I'd like the design to have a professional yet approachable vibe. The kind of business your mom would hire. I'm a practical, down-to-earth kind of person who deals honestly with people and I'd like that represented as well. Simple and clean works better for me than fussy. (But I really do love script!)

I envision being able to embroider this on a polo shirt, so the colors would have to be complementary to that. I mostly wear (light) purples, blues and teals or turquoises, so something that works with those colors is good. I really dislike brown and orange, so if you stay away from those colors, you'll have a greater chance of success! :-) I'm most fond of the blues, purples and pinks, but sometimes surprise myself by choosing something completely different!

I'd envisioned the two Ms in some sort of script; possibly even intertwined. They'd be bigger than the rest of the text and the word "the" would be much smaller. It's only there to make the name sound better. I'd like to be able to use the "MM" part of the design as a stand-alone. For example, when you bookmark my site (which I don't have yet), I'd like the "Ms" to be an icon. I'm going to have a website, business cards, and stationary, so the logo has to work well in all those situations. In addition, I may use it for marketing, so it would have to do well on promotional giveaways (pens, lanyards, mugs).
