  I want to thank all the designers who submitted their designs to this contest! We had so many excellent designs to choose from and were so grateful for the participation!   Project extended once more. I hope this is good news for designers and not frustrating. I apologize if it's annoying! I'm still communicating with a few designers to get their submissions finalized to choose a winner. I want to continue to thank those designers for all the edits and picky things they've been adjusting for me. I also want to thank new designers for continuing to participate even in the last few hours! Who knows, I may love your last minute submission and extend the project again. ;) I also want to apologize for not being able to give feedback to everyone. If your design is going in a direction I like, I'll be sure to let you know, so if you don't hear from me, keep trying new ideas. Thanks again!

  I apologize for needing to extend the contest. Some family situations have kept me sooooo busy the last few days and I wasn't even able to open my computer, much less sit down to evaluate designs. Thank you for understanding.

  Thank you to everyone who has submitted designs! We are so pleased with the progress of our project. Another comment about fonts: I love the ones that seem to have a dimensional/metallic look to them, is gradient the right word? That look is really appealing to me. Also, designs that have an overall dimension to them are neat. Not every design looks better that way, but I'd be interested to see designs with and without those unique styles. (Avoid a "bubble" look though, I don't feel it looks quite as clean and professional.) 4 and 1/2 more days!

  Update on the colors: same maroon/red/whatever that I entered in the brief, but I'm starting to like silver with it. Thanks to the designers who chose that color combination to work with. Obviously, black and white still work too. I think I'd like to stay away from other colors though unless you feel you have an awesome combo. I'm sorry I'm struggling to keep up with ratings and feedback! I promise I'm doing the best I can with my time. I'm also sorry I can't provide personal feedback for the designs I eliminate, I know that doesn't really give you a new direction to go in. But please keep making submissions! For those who have received feedback, thank you so much for your willingness to rework your designs! And thank you for your patience in between my communications; I'm sure you're eager to get feedback on your modifications. I'm trying. Continued thanks for everyone's time and creativity!

  Another note: 3 stars are my highest rating right now. As the contest gets closer to the end, your design will go up in rating if it continues to be one of my favorites. I'm not sure how other contest holders do it, but that system just makes sense to me. Please, no one be offended by low ratings, I'm just working with the low stars until we get closer to the end.   I will be reviewing designs as often as I have a chance. I've started giving some feedback and ratings, please don't withdraw your design just because you haven't heard from me yet, I just haven't had a chance! I will eliminate the designs that aren't quite the direction I want to go, and I will give ratings to others. I don't intend to leave any design without some form of feedback, so just be patient. Thank you all so much for your designs!!
