We need a logo design for our New York-based theatrical investment fund, Avalon Theatrical Partners. We are raising monies to invest in Broadway shows. We are seasoned producers but this is our first, of what we hope will be many, funds.
The fund will work much like a mutual fund where investors will have their investments diversified into several shows instead of just one, thereby mitigating their risk and increasing the likelihood of financial success. In addition, the fund will have a very exclusive club-like element…investors will receive opening night tickets, invitations to opening night parties, talk-back events with cast members, etc.
We will definitely want to use the logo on business cards and perhaps stationery. At some point we will build a website and want to have the logo somewhere on there as well. We'd probably like a two-color logo.
Soooo, our logo must marry the formality of a financial business with the fun, creativity of the theater. We'd like a logo that looks smart, sophisticated, straightforward, elegant, modern, attractive, inviting, and hip. We want people to want to be involved.
