Since we offer merchant services we were thinking something along the lines of a credit card terminal or a credit card, but we are completely open to new ideas.

I'm sorry for changing the Requirements a bit, but since I can't edit Brief I will put it in the comment. I just have three very small requests to make, hope it's not gonna be too much. I want to be able to compare the logo with an uppercase and lowercase "e", so if you can please submit two designs one with "e" and another with "E". Please add ".com" after Merchants, so the whole text would read "E Direct Merchants.com" or "e Direct Merchants.com" Versions with a dash after "e" would also be fine. E Direct Merchants.com E-Direct Merchants.com e Direct Merchants.com e-Direct Merchants.com Thank you all for your fantastic work.
