This company that I am starting is an apparel/ Clothing company. My first line will be a t-shirt line.
Amelia's Ward is my company I came up with to umbrella the clothing line but to also give back to the community in which I was raised aptly named Amelia's Ward. All clothing that is sold under this name will be giving a small percentage to fund give back projects in Amelia's Ward, Linden, Guyana.
I first named the company Amelia's Ward Clothing, but decided that it would be best give it a quirky feel and just take of the clothing part of the name. This clothing line is fun and out going. You will stand for something when you wear Amelia's Ward Clothing.
This t-shirt line will include apparel for men, women, children alike.
I originally wanted the shadow of a little brown girl doing a hand stand or upside down almost looking like a cartwheel with her two ponytails hanging down with bows at the end of it. The entire logo will be brown (medium to dark brown). It represented me as a young girl but also represents the fact that this clothing company gives back to the youth of Guyana. It represents life, creativity and hope. It represents a lifestyle.
Since the clothing line will include t-shirts for men and boys I am now not sure if it would be wise to do display this little brown girl, so I may need other options.
This clothing line caters to all people but will definitely gain the following of a lot of urban youth and 30'somethings.
I need something attractive appealing that still represents a great sense of fashion and style, demure but noticeable at the same time.
Logo can also be with little bow and girl???? thats iffy though.

brown/black, other colors maybe. if we can keep simple and look good with only one or two colors that would be great.
not sure
Amelia's Ward letters can be uppercase and lowercase never mind correct capitalizations. The letters can also be switched around or flipped in wrong direction. giving a quirky yet fashionable feeling.
If using girl has to be a little african american girl.
