Launching a new business! Learning and development professionals to design learning initiatives for businesses. Already have reputation of being "forward thinking" in creating learning initiatives tied to business outcomes, creating platform for user-generated videos for technical skills best practices in manufacturing, and using social media with a business outcome context. Professional, smart, driven group. High-octane but not silly.

chocolate brown and some shade of red (like rasberry, maroon, deep red). Deep brown but with zing. Or other color combo you recommend. Not orange and blue as we've overused that for something else.

One idea is to play off the word "catalyst" in the tag line. Have the two colors (e.g. brown and rasberry) be separate then come together in some cool swirl, geometric, etc. representing the business and people performances coming together but still separate (we highly value individual performance, not just about the company performance).
Just an idea. open to different ideas.
Once logo is done, then will need business card design, etc.
