looking for a fun and modern take on boring finance - NEED TO ENGAGE EVERYDAY PEOPLE

We want to make it easy for people to invest in companies and learn about them! Instead of paying high fees to investment advisors, we want to create an investment community for people to use to share ideas, track stocks and collaborate with eachother. While the content will be very numeric, we need it to be extremely engaging so people get involved and contribute. The site will have a lot of reddit style upvotes and down vote features.
