BioTissue is a small German and Swiss company that was founded in 2003 as a spin-off of the University Hospital of Freiburg (Germany). BioTissue is the leader of regenerative medicine worldwide. It manufactures biological devices for joint cartilage regeneration in the orthopaedics. BioTissue has strong research and development activities and is owner of a unique 3D membrane system for the regeneration of joint cartilage. Innovation is the motor drive of BioTissue because it allows to improve patients' quality of life through better medical approaches.
