  Number 28 is getting closer because it is simple and the text is elegant but not overdone. The extra graphic in it feels random and misplaced though. Number 27 is appealing because it is simple text with just a little bit of flair. The block lettering has less elegance than we are looking for though.

  #5 and #7 that have Southdale in one color and the ".com" in another are in the right direction. Also, a logo that has "southdale" and "com" in one color and the "." in another would work too. Again, this site is aimed at the public who shop and dine in the "Southdale" area of Edina, MN (an upscale suburb of Minneapolis). Think of Groupon or LivingSocial.com, but with a more narrow focus.
