Describe who/what this design is about

We want a new logo for our organization, Meriden Soccer Club. The club/team logo will need to appear on uniforms, signage and merchandise. We would like a club logo similar to the logos/crests/shields used by professional soccer clubs in the MLS and Europe.

Our current logo features a castle tower which represents a local land mark. We would like to retain some sort of representation of the castle in our new logo. For reference you can visit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Craig

Meriden, Connecticut (where we are based) is also nick-named the 'Silver City' which is why the color silver is part of our club colors.
