Describe who/what this design is about

We are a real estate company. We represent investors and buy property. We have had a management company for a while and that company is well known in the community. People know our original logo well so we would like to have some connection with the original logo which is saiboats and can be seen on the business card on an attachment. We have some other logos which we had designers make which I will attach which we weren't necessarily in love with. We are redoing our website and want to modernize or redo our logo. Again, we want to see some sort of connection so people can relate our management company with our acquisitions company. Our current website is www.rokacquisitions.com. We have been working to make a new website which is http://miamiwritertest.com/rok and is not launched yet. If you would like more info on us, please check the website on the about us tab.

Thank you all for submitting some very creative new logos. I reviewed them all with the partners but there was nothing close enough to the original which is what they were adamant about. Here are the instructions I have to pass on: They want to keep the logo almost the same. They would like 3 versions of the logo which is white background, black background, and pocka dot background. I have uploaded 3 logos which are basically one of each. Please remember that on the white background, the white sails might blend so the boats may need a border. Also, they want to incorporate the word "ROK" in the logo and not Rok Acquisitions. The company wants to stick to something basic and almost the same as original logo but if they see something they like more they will jump on it. I was thinking there may be a creative way to add the letter R, O, and K on 3 of the sails somewhere. Another idea would be to make the sails slightly bended to look more modern (not too much). Also, please incorporate the word ROK in there so that it blends in well. Feel free to do just one of the backgrounds and if we like yours the most, we can reach out to you and ask you to do the other backgrounds. Please reach out to me any time if you have any questions. I really like a few of the ones we have but don't love any of them. We need to make sure we keep the identity of the sailboats somehow. I am not sure if we should try to modernize them or keep them old looking but change the design around them. Please continue to be creative!
