Describe who/what this design is about

Historic Restaurant looking to revitalize the old logo. Submissions my include elements from the old logo. Also like simple logos with abbreviations as well. The Cold Spring Grange building was originally constructed in 1912, and served as the meeting hall for the Cold Spring Grange #132. This organization acted as a local political, civic, business, educational and social group for the farmers and residents of Cold Spring Village and the surrounding rural area until about 1970. The Grange now operates as a farm to table restaurant. http://www.coldspringgrange.net is the website and also please refer to the uploaded old logo

Please stop using the same logo and just changing the color and/or font...that will not win you the contest. Designs who take small elements from the old logo but recreate their own logo will be the winner.

Zillion Designs limits you om color selection but colors should be Tan, Dark Green, Maroon. Does not have to have all 3 colors.

Please keep in mind the logo will need to be able to be embroidered on uniforms. American 1900s as this is the time period theme of the restaurant so anything modern and new age will not work.
